Cayo Guillermo, Cuba Cuba

Cayo Guillermo is one of the islands in the Jardines del Rey archipelago off the north coast of Ciego de Ávila Province in Cuba. The island is a popular tourist destination and has four all‑inclusive resort complexes, as well as one of the best beaches in the country. According to legend, Guillermo and Paredón Grande allowed Diego Velázquez to name the place in honor of the Spanish monarch Ferdinand the Catholic. The main attractions in Cayo Guillermo are its beaches and wildlife. It is highly recommended to go out and experience the “real” Cuba. Excursions to Morón or overnight trips to Trinidad and Havana are some of the organized tours that are offered.
